For those not from the northeast portion of the nation, or those who've never had the opportunity to see Dale Thierer and his HEMI HUNTER posse in action, please be advised that they put the proverbial "pedal to the metal" in a big way--- uh, let's just say don't hold back!!... It's borderline "miraculous" the way their painstaking recreation of the original HEMI HUNTER fed looks and sounds so g*sh d*rn "period correct" (she's a beauty!!)... The cowl, the bodywork, the whole package is supa-dupa mega beautiful!!... The Hemi Hunter team have contributed much in making E-Town's Old Time Drags/Funny Car Reunion the "classic Drag Racin' blast" it has become... They're a team with an impressive history in NHRA Division 1 (NED) T/F racing... Those of you who have DRU'S FUNNY CAR REUNION RAW dvd know some of their history... The HEMI HUNTER is the cat's meow of Top Fuel digger "recreations"--- and yes, it's WAY-FAST too!!... We all really LOVE the way the HEMI HUNTER team assembled together again after many years apart, and then came back from the past to show us how cool this sport can be when the style & power are able to "click" together in such a beautiful (yet slightly volatile) harmony... 3 cheers for the return of the HEMI HUNTER!!...
